Hello all, I have seven Seiko mods/builds and a couple OEM Seikos up for sale today. Prices are OBO, and include shipping CONUS via USPS priority. Paypal or Venmo preferred. Prices are as follows, descriptions below: SRPD21 (‘great white’ Turtle): $275 SRP773: $270 One Second Closer Build: $250 Titanium SKX173 Build: $275 SKX009 (upgraded): $275 SRPC07: $300 SRPB09: $350 Imgur link for more pictures: https://imgur.com/a/5HnM2bB SRPD21: I purchased this from an AD back in spring of 2022. Haven’t really worn it as much as I thought I would, so I figured I’d post it for sale. Untouched, comes on a navy blue elastic strap that wears very comfortably. Would make an excellent summer watch. SRP773: I purchased this on here with a scratched hardlex crystal. The only mod I have done is to install a flat sapphire crystal. There is a small chip in the bezel insert at the 50 minute mark, as shown in the pictures. The turtle series is one of my all time favorites, simply because of how comfortably they wear. The case hugs your wrist quite well, and the cushion sides mean that the crown never digs into the back of your hand. Comes on an OEM Seiko bracelet, sized for ~7.25” wrists. Includes 5 extra links along with the pins/collars needed to install them. One Second Closer Custom Build: This is a custom watch I built around the venerable SKX007 platform. This watch features a case, caseback, dial, hands, chapter ring, and bezel insert from one of my favorite parts suppliers, One Second Closer. The movement is an NH38, and as such has hacking and hand winding, with an approx. 41 hour power reserve. Finishing off the watch is a “top hat” tall flat sapphire crystal with blue anti-reflective undercoating. I’ve found this watch to be most comfortable on an elastic MN-style strap, and as such it ships on one. Titanium SKX173 build: built using a Long Island Watch titanium SKX case and fitted rubber strap (fits my 7~7,25” wrists, has about a half inch of microadjustment left to use). OEM SKX173 dial and hands, NH36 with kanji day wheel, lumed chapter ring, flat sapphire, and fully lumed sapphire bezel insert. This was a very fun watch to build (sort of a ‘super mod’), and it weighs next to nothing (a mere 102 grams). There are a few light scratches on the caseback and clasp, some marks underneath the bezel at 6 o’clock from removing it, and a very slight blemish under the day window, as I’ve tried to show in the pictures. SKX009: This is an SKX009 that everybody is familiar with, but with a few upgrades. I swapped the movement out for an NH36, put a sapphire in instead of the hardlex, changed the crown to accommodate the new movement, and it sits on a blue Uncle Seiko tropic strap specifically designed for the SKX series. There’s not much else to say about this classic of a watch. SPRC07: Orange Samurai on an OEM Seiko Bracelet. I purchased this on here earlier in the year, but I simply did not connect with it, and am trying to pare down my collection. The watch is in very good condition, with only a few blemishes on the inner side of the bezel insert in between the 5 and 11 minute marks. The bracelet is currently sized for my ~7.25” wrist, and I unfortunately cannot find any extra links. If that’s an issue, I have a couple of rubber or NATO-style straps I could ship the watch with. PM me if interested. SRPB09 ‘Blue Lagoon’ samurai on a Long Island Watch bracelet with an upgraded clasp. There is some wear on the case and bezel insert, as shown in the pictures. This is one of my favorite Seiko limited editions, but it unfortunately does not get enough wrist time for me to justify keeping it, so I figured it’d be better off in another home. Similar to the SRPD21, this would make an excellent summer watch. As mentioned above, comes on a Long Island Watch aftermarket bracelet, with an improved clasp. The bracelet is currently sized for my ~7.25” wrist, but includes 3 extra links and has about ½” left of microadjustment in the clasp.
