This is an Omega Speedmaster Date Automatic, one of the hidden gems in the recent Omega lineup. It is powered by the Omega Cal. 1164, a modified Valjoux 7750 with a rhodium finish and adjusted to COSC chronometer standards and offering a 44-hour power reserve. This is a robust, reliable movement with that additional finishing and adjustment, making it a great value. In fact, for the prices these trade for, the Speedmaster Date is a fantastic value, which is hard to find in this overinflated market. Timestamp: [https://imgur.com/asLQ7uy](https://imgur.com/asLQ7uy) Gallery: [https://imgur.com/a/PVbldEL](https://imgur.com/a/PVbldEL) The 39mm case features 5 bar water resist and is beautifully finished brushed and polished stainless steel with 18mm lyre lugs. It is 14mm thick, and is very nicely balanced and wears phenomenally. The tachymeter bezel slopes away from the AR coated sapphire crystal. The dial is lovely, with gloss and circular guilloché detailing, and inset subdials for a layered look. The multi-step date window surround is an indication of the luxurious detail in this dial. It is not the all-business classic Speedmaster, and it’s probably better for it, being a dressier and visually more interesting watch. Unlike the Reduced, the Speedmaster Date’s integrated chronograph movement means the pushers are inline with the signed push/pull crown. The chronograph indicators start, split, and stop precisely and instantly. This example shows some light wear, particularly to the bezel, which because of its prominent lip can attract “desk-diving” wear. Other than the bezel (which can be replaced), the watch is in nice preowned condition. It comes with its original bracelet which is sized for apt 7 inch wrists. No additional links are available (but they are available used elsewhere and new through an Omega AD). The watch does not come with any of its original materials; it came from a Japanese reseller that doesn’t tend to supply manuals, warranty cards, and the like. It does come with an Omega box that was acquired separately. Likewise, service history is unknown. Timegrapher shows that it is running well and the watch has no known functional issues. Of course, it might be prudent to do a preventative maintenance, but the watch is not showing any indication of needing service. Asking $1,499 shipped insured CONUS or best reasonable offer. PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo preferred. Not willing to ship internationally at this time. Some references here, many more on my eBay store, references on request. Happy to answer any questions to best of my ability.
