For sale is my Rolex Air-King Reference 14000, black stick dial, oyster bracelet, U serial number, no-holes case. This watch was purchased new by me at one of the Rolex ADs in Houston in October 1998; I am the only owner of the watch. As a result, this watch has not passed through multiple owners and hands over the years; it’s been handled with care and worn in rotation with three other primary watches by no one but me. I have full kit here as shown; original box, papers, hang tag, receipt. The watch has been never been damaged or abused, there are just the slightest of hairlines and desk divers in places. The watch has kept chronometer-grade time consistently at 2 to 3 spd error over the years. It’s fair to say this watch is in mint condition. In addition, I sent in for a full RSC service on the watch, completed in April 2023 ($987, receipt provided; as usual with Rolex, they replaced the crystal and crown during the service). For those that don’t know, because the work was performed at a Rolex Service Center instead of by an independent watchmaker, this provides three additional benefits to the buyer of this watch: 1. The watch is guaranteed authentic, backed up by Rolex themselves in writing. 2. The watch has all original Rolex parts, confirmed by the RSC watchmaker; this is not a “Frankenwatch.” 3. Rolex provides a new, two-year warranty in writing for the watch (see service card in picture album), which is transferable to the buyer and will extend to April 2025. Basically, if someone does an RSC for their watch prior to sale, what you get is basically the same thing as a watch sold as part of Rolex’ new Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program. Finally, I have provided contact information if desired for the Rolex Authorized Dealer (AD) and Sales Associate where the watch was serviced if the buyer wishes to confirm my identity and/or the authenticity of the watch. Please note that for security purposes in the ad, my personal information and the serial number of the watch have been blacked out in the picture album.
