Quick distinction: compared to the similar looking Sub 300T, the Sub 300 is thinner, more compact, has a beautiful vintage-style domed sapphire crystal (instead of a flat sapphire), and a COSC-grade movement. It loses the helium escape valve, but let's be real...none of us *really* needed it in the first place. Don't let the seemingly large case dimensions fool you with this one--the Sub 300 wears great even on smaller wrists (mine's only around 6") due to its relatively short lug-to-lug and small dial aperture of ~29mm. And then we get to the bracelet; IMO no one does beads of rice better than Doxa. And then there's the history...from the connection to the legendary Cousteau and more.
