Shipping from India- have sold a few, anybody is yet to complain :) Now onto the watches- together they could be a very nice collection in itself: 1. GS SBGN003: bought 2021, didn’t get worn much. Battery change and bracelet buffing done in Sep 2023 by GS. Asking $1699+50 shipping (normally shipping is $100 +, I will cover the balance). Payment via PayPal G&S (fees on me). 2. SRPK017: this is why everybody say buy the watch post seeing it in person. Missed the announcement, and when I found out about this, I needed one but all were sold out. A friend was kind enough to buy from Bangkok airport in July (he swears he goes there regularly for business - but that’s for another day), but didn’t connect with it. But fantastic watch, tasty vintage aesthetic, nice touch of blue and red on the dial, etc. etc. $349 all inclusive via PayPal G&S (I will cover shipping and fees) No trades please. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
