Up for sale is an extremely rare Citizen Seven Star Day-Date from 1964, silver dial, 23 jewel manual wind, automatic movement calibre 4000, Para40MWater, Reference Number SEOS51301-T, 18000 bph. The case diameter is 37mm, lug-to-lug 46mm, lug width 18mm, three-hander with 3 o’clock date window and 6 o’clock day window. The watch also has a unique quick-set date implementation where you pull the crown out to position 2 (time setting), then pull it out further to position 3, which advances the date with a satisfying click and the crown automatically pops back to position 2 again. Repeat as needed. This watch has been restored by a watchmaker specializing in vintage Citizen and Seiko automatics. Here is his description text: “The watch has been professionally restored and fully serviced. The movement has been completely disassembled, every part cleaned and lubricated, the accuracy adjusted for regulation. All parts are 100% original. Watch is running, date setting is working, day setting is running, dial has slight patina but presents nearly new. Watch case is lightly polished, caseback is unpolished to preserve the text. This movement is very robust despite being 60 years old, it should be trouble-free until your next scheduled service.” The sale is for the watch only, no box or papers naturally for a watch of this vintage. The aftermarket strap provided by the selling watchmaker is a modest but period-appropriate grey leather strap which I am providing along with my preferred strap for this watch (and shown in the pics)—a medium shade of blue, suede strap. Asking price is a **negotiable $525 which includes insured shipping** for CONUS and US territories buyers. Any of Venmo, Zelle, PayPal FF, or wire for payment. Please comment in thread before sending PM, no chats. Not interested in trades at this time, sorry. Thanks for looking at my ad!
