Hi OF,

I want to add another iconic watch to the collection. In todays market I would rather find someone interested in doing similar and work a trade versus selling one to buy another. I know chances are slim but thought it worth a try.

I have a very, very nice, original 145.022-68 Transitional Speedmaster that I am interested in trading for (in order of preference) a 16750 GMT, a 16700 GMT or a 14060 Submariner.

Mine: Unpolished to my eye, original, clean, one mark on the caseback from a bad opening but thats the only real flaw to my eye. Set has full length 1039/516 (9 stretchlinks on the bracelet and one loose that will accompany bracelet), an original/period correct 1501 box, and EOA showing delivery to the USA in May of 1969. No service history, watch has remained untouched while in my possession, it could use a good cleaning if nothing else.

Trade can be up, down, or straight across depending on your watch. Values can be discussed by PM of course.

Trade: Looking for an established member and prefer to keep it in USA/MX/CAN. My thought was in person at a convenient airport to avoid any shipping or potential returns/miscommunication issues. Give us both a chance to see the trade in the metal so to speak. EU is possible (AMS/LHR/CDG) but I dont plan on being there until February as it stands today. (But for the right watch, who knows...)

A few pictures to whet the appetite, many more available to any potential trade partners of course.

Cash sale: not particularly interested in doing a straight cash sale, I will always listen to an offer but it would have to be pretty attractive to get this one, other than as a trade.

References available both for online and in-person transactions. I have done another F2F deal with an OF member with no issues.

Please reach out to discuss via PM/DM here on OF.

Thanks for reading, and thanks OF for the space.
