Happy October, Watchex! Up for sale is my like new Christopher Ward 39mm C63 Sealander. Comes on the Christopher Ward Vintage Oak 20mm leather strap and the NEW/UNUSED (still in stickers) Christopher Ward stainless steel bracelet with micro adjust. Very gently worn with little, if any, signs of wear on the case or crystal. Purchased in March 2023 so 4+ years of CW warranty remaining. Full kit including double box and papers Just picked up an Oris Big Crown Pointer Date, so this one needs to go! The Sealander on the bracelet with the additional leather strap will run you right at $1200 with taxes and customs duties. Asking $750 or best reasonable offer shipped to CONUS. Christopher Ward was founded by Chris Ward, Mike France and Peter Ellis on a boat on the river Thames in 2004.

In 2005, Christopher Ward released their first watch which created a whole new model for the watchmaking industry. When influential watch bloggers wrote about their watches on TimeZone, Christopher Ward were being discussed more than Rolex in December 2005.

For the company’s 10th anniversary in 2014, it merged with Swiss manufacturing partners Synergies Horlogères SA to create Christopher Ward London Holdings Ltd. This culminated in the launch of Christopher Ward’s first in-house movement, Calibre SH21, in July 2014. Conceived and designed over the past four years by Christopher Ward’s watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke, the SH21 is entirely Swiss-made by some craftsmen. This release is said to be “probably the most important development by a British watch brand in the past 50 years.”

Christopher Ward London was the only watch company to rank in The Sunday Times SME Export Track 100, ranking 77th in 2015.
