Hi WatchEx, for sale today is a Grand Seiko SBGA407 "Skyflake" with papers dated June, 2020. This is a perfect example of Grand Seiko's Zaratsu polished case and a gorgeous sky blue textured dial. 40mm case, 9R65 Spring drive movement with 72 hours power reserve. Included in the asking price is the full kit is the OEM blue crocodile strap + LEGS bracelet from Japan and 2 custom handmade straps, made of alligator and ostrich. The stainless steel OEM bracelet has been adjusted to fit a 7.25" wrist, but all extra links are included. The straps included are sized to fit perfectly to a 7.25-7.5" wrist. The OEM crocodile strap has the adjustable deployment clasp. The watch is in overall great condition with no major dings and only minor swirls and hairlines from only occasional wear. The photos including timestamp are in the post, but I am also happy providing additional photos and video upon request. I am asking $5150 obo. MSRP is $5800 and the OEM bracelet cost $800 on top. I am available in New York City for a face to face transaction. Otherwise, I will pay for insured 2-day FedEx shipping. Thanks for looking.

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
