Presenting one of the older Omega Seamaster Professional models. This iteration features the classic wave dial with red accents on the seconds and chronograph hands. Sitting at 42mm, this timepiece will fit up to a 7.75″ wrist on the James Bond style bracelet (about 8.5″ with the dive extension) and over 8″ on the aftermarket blue rubber strap. this is an absolute must have for any Omega Seamaster collector.

This Seamaster was serviced by Omega in 2019 and is running strong with an amplitude over 300 and within COSC standards according to my timegrapher.

CONDITION & CONTENTS: This timepiece has been well loved over the years, notably on the bezel and case. The crystal has some minor markings only visible in harsh direct light. Please see all photos for an accurate representation. Offered as watch only along with an aftermarket rubber strap.

NOTE: I take detailed, close up photos of every watch, which makes dust or blemishes look worse than they actually are when viewed in person. If you have any questions regarding condition, please reach out and ask for more photos or video. I’d be happy to provide whatever you request. Any identifying numbers or codes on the timepiece, boxes, stickers, etc. specific to this watch have been hidden.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
