For sale is a vintage International Watch Co. dress piece with automatic caliber 8531 movement. Serial dates this to the early-mid 1960's, and the case and movement serials align. Case condition is very good and the pie pan dial is original. Overall the watch pressents very well on the wrist and has a great vintage look. The cal. 8531 automatic movement winds and sets smoothly and date changes over at midnight. As with all IWC 85 series movements, this utilizes the legendary and highly efficient Pellaton winding system. Service history is not known. The case measures approximately 35mm wide without crown, 42mm lug to lug, and 11.3mm thick with crystal. Lugs are 18mm. Shot of the watch on my 6.75" wrist provided for reference.
