This watch celebrates the 55th anniversary of the 44GS case and represents a modern update to the classic Grand Seiko Grammar of Design, taking the classic elements but including touches like lumed indices and hands. The dial on this is a pure white color that appears to not have any textured finish to it until the light strikes at the right angle, and then the vertical brushing becomes apparent. The blue accents of the GS logo (first time that has been done on a Grand Seiko), blued GMT hand, and GMT text bring a subtle touch of color to the watch. The exhibition sapphire caseback shows off a striking titanium rotor colored gold through anodic oxidation. The 44GS case looks amazing in titanium, and the light weight makes this very comfortable on the wrist. This watch is from March 2022 and under Grand Seiko's 5 year warranty until March 2027. The case measures 40mm wide, with a 46.2mm lug to lug width and 19mm lug width. The size makes it wearable for a large range of wrists, and it is shown in my pictures on my \~6.75" wrist.
