Greetings Watchexchange! Up for sale is a lovely Seiko Lord Matic 5601-9000 dating to April 1972. The 56xx series of movements is a high end vintage Seiko movement, extremely slim for an automatic and featuring hacking and hand winding. The 560x movements featured in most LM's beat at 21,600 bph. The watch features a gorgeous vertically brushed dial which is admittedly hard to capture on camera but is striking visually in a variety of lighting conditions. The dial is quite clean for the age, barring light marks around the "LM" badge and the "Seiko" logo. The watch is all original, and the 36mm stainless steel case is unpolished and quite clean considering the age. The acrylic crystal is largely scratch free except a few scratches which are only visible by the shadow they cast on the dial in harsh lighting. The movement has unknown service history but I have manually timed the watch to perform within 20spd while offering a 30+ hour power reserve when fully wound. The watch comes on an aftermarket handmade 18mm green leather strap.
