In my opinion, marrying a pocket watch movement to a wristwatch case is the best way of giving a good vintage movement a second lease on life.
This marriage is between a strong running, just serviced Bulova caliber 1241.5 skeleton movement from a 1970s Caravelle pocketwatch and a modern stainless case made for Vestal Watch Co.

The movement is in great shape, as is the case with many movements from vintage pocket watches that have been neglected in a dark drawer for decades. I have taken it apart, cleaned it, and reassembled it with new lubrication. It is a great runner, and beautiful to look at.

The dial and hands are original to the Caravelle pocketwatch, and are in excellent condition for their 40some years.

The NOS Vestal case measures 46mm across, but alows for lug articulation at 44mm, making this watch fit better around a smaller wrist. Stainless steel construction, with 5ATM water resistance (although the case is new, properly gasketed and greased, I have no pressure testing equipment, so water resistance is only implied and not guaranteed.)
The leather strap is also NOS and original to the Vestal case.

Folks, this is a beautiful watch, with a great skeletonized Swiss movement, solid and well put together.
