Hi everyone. I’d like to sell my genuine Seiko Presage “Cocktail” Starlight, for USD850 OBO. I am the original owner and had it shipped in from Japan, so it is a rare JDM model. It comes with ALL original box and papers (in fact, I have even kept the original thin wrapping paper the inner completely undamaged velvet box was wrapped with, as well as the original clear plastic watch stickers – both can be seen in the pictures). This is not a standard Presage but the ultra-rare Limited Edition (this is 1,2XX out of 1,300 pieces), with the date dial at the 6 o’clock position powered with an equally rare 4R57A movement. The star of the show is the icy blue, multi-textured dial (see macro shots). It has been applied through 7 layers of enamel and always catches the light in different ways, so it is always satisfying to look at it through a loupe. And if continuing to look through the loupe, notice the hands are satin-finished on one side and polished on the other so catch the light differently as they move, making for an ingenious solution to legibility. Overall, some might say this dial could easily be sold on a Grand Seiko without a second thought. The crystal is Hardlex – but this is scratch-free on my particular watch, allowing a completely clear view of that gorgeous dial. Lastly, around the back is the transparent display, showing the gold-plated rotor. Also visible is the limited edition number. This all-original watch would make a great holiday season gift for the discerning watch enthusiast, so consider buying it before the holidays kick in resulting in prices going crazy. These watches are extremely limited even on eBay - just 3-4 units available for USD1,100 onwards and those too with aftermarket straps.
