Hello - up for sale is a May of 1983 Seiko 6309-7049. A watch that needs little introduction, the classic “Turtle” is a super versatile diver. This watch just underwent a full service and reseal and it now passes a pressure test up to 120m easily. Movement: just serviced and running very well. All functions working properly. Clean movement, no corrosion, excellent power reserve and accuracy. Case: clean case with honest wear. No significant damage or signs of abuse. Original crown screws down tightly. All gaskets are new and passes a pressure test. Crystal: brand new Hardlex from Spencer Klein. Indistinguishable from original. Dial clean and free from damage. Lume plots intact and very nice. Overall, a very nice dial. Hands: showing some age, as many Seikos from this era do. Slight corrosion and some darkening/age on the lume. Strap: recent silicone waffle strap. Very comfortable and looks great! Overall - this is an all original and sharp classic Turtle. It is ready to go with fresh service and a pressure test. Wear it in confidence.
