Hello r/watchexchange! Up for sale today is a rare bird. You may already know about the legendary Fortis Cosmonauts ref. 602.22.142, but here's a funky fresh twist on it you may not have seen before. Fortis collaborated with German pop artist Andora to produce 700 watches (350 a piece in black & white) with his art on the dials. These watches were made in the early 2000s and ceased production in 2003 (along with the Lemania 5100). What drew me in is the juxtaposition of such lighthearted art on such a serious (and legitimately spacefaring) tool watch. The added awesomeness of a center counting chrono is the cherry on top. Only selling as it hasn't been getting the wrist time it rightfully deserves -- this peach of a watch shouldn't be sitting by idly.
