1971 ROLEX GMT-MASTER 1675 Root Beer
Serial/Year: 273****, 1971

Case: Lug holes case in good condition. Shows signs of use and polishing. Underneath the case lugs are a few scratches from bracelet removal and mounting. Acrylic glass exibits sign of wear.

Dial: Matte brown dot dial and hands are in very good condition for watch this age.

Bezel: The Rolex rootbeer insert (included) was swapped to a brown faded insert with some surface wear. The 18k bezel teeth is soft due to polishing and use. I also want to point due to the condition of the bezel, it is difficult to turn, if at all but sits securely tight. I can swap back the rootbeer insert if prefered.

Movement: 1570 movement, service history is unknown. Timing running at +15.4s/day (based on readings provided from previous sale). Winds as it should. Keep in mind a known habit of the 1570 movement when adjusting time, the seconds hands continues to run (does not stop as more modern movements) and hand can appear jumpy.

Bracelet: 18kt gold and stainless oyster bracelet, 14 links total, and shows sign of stretch. Note this is a folded link bracelet so re-sizing it isn't for the faint of heart, likely better to have a watchmaker handle it.
