This is a JDM package and has the JDM ref # of SBDL083 vs the SSC807 ref # of the N. America and international version. It comes in the rectangular black limited edition kit with the deep green rubber dive strap also unused of course...bought it from the JDM market and shipped it here and I need the money, and I haven't even thought about wearing it, so it's got to go... [timestamp pic](https://imgur.com/df7kesr) [photos link](https://imgur.com/a/Gjo9jEU) The deep green is really sharp, and this is one solar chrono that has some appeal due to the power reserve display at 6 o'clock when you aren't' using the chrono function, and the 5 beats per second of the chrono sweep hand, which seals the deal by being darn near Caterpillar yellow! Haven't worn it simply because I didn't want to scratch it and have been doing work and play that would have certainly done so with a 44.5mm watch, for sure. If I didn't need the money, I wouldn't be selling. Will ship this anywhere the buyer wants at their expense, and would like any fees paid for by the buyer that way they can use whatever platform they want at my approval, will start account if necessary, I have Revolut, Venmo, Cash App, PP FF or Goods and Service. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
