*As a long time collector myself (over 20 years!) I go above and beyond to treat buyers the way I want to be treated when I’m the buyer. Just historic, understated elegance on your wrist! (It worked, or famously DIDN’T work for Andy Warhol…) This is an absolutely KILLER example with that stealth black dial and gilt/gold writing! Add to that the fact that it just came back from my watchmaker after a full service on the hand wound movement, complete with one-year warranty! YEAR: App late 70s - mid 80s DIAL: Tricky watch to photograph, between the black dial and the curved crystal, but even with a few reflections you can see how absolutely GORGEOUS this dial is!!! The black and the gold is pure bad ass elegance! At certain angles you can see a very slight spidering to a few areas of the lacquer, common with these, but all in appears absolutely beautiful! CASE: This is the vintage men’s version, measuring in at 23.5MM x 30.5MM. A small and classy watch, equally suitable as a midsize or unisex swatch. Pictured on my 6.6 inch wrist, it wears beautifully. The Vermeil case, a Cartier staple of gold over sterling silver, has wear throughout, as to be expected given the age. This example has none of the plating loss usually found on these! And of course that sweet crown with its blue cabochon! MOVEMENT: Cartier handwinding movement that just returned a few days ago from a full service by my watchmaker - will come with a receipt and one-year warranty. STRAP: Comes on a new black strap with white piping to bring in a little modern funk to this classic piece, I think it’s a sweet combo! ACCESSORIES: Watch as photographed with service receipt.
