But a closer look reveals a series of thoughtful tributes to various natural elements found around our Burlingame home: specifically the five-minute hash marks encircling the dial, which are dark blue, green and yellow, as a nod to the Pacific Ocean, the redwood trees, and the sunshine found in Northern California.
