Hello, I’ve accumulated too many watches so despite the fact that I love these builds, they are not getting wrist time. Case/Bracelet: Both have a 36mm explorer case with sapphire crystal from Riyi002 on ebay, an oyster style bracelet with glide lock also from Riyi and NH35 movements. Dials: The watch on the left in all pictures has a grey meteorite dial from dial maker (green lume indices with blue lume hands) and the watch on the right has a Seiko save the ocean dial (non OEM all green lume). Condition: Both watches have been worn but with care and have minimal wear. Most significant wear is seen on the clasp. These watches have been sized to my 6.5 inch wrist and I have 7 spare links so I can provide however many you may need. Price: Asking $235 for the meteorite and $210 for the save the ocean dial shipped to the continental US (I accept paypal and venmo). The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
