Buenos Dias Amigos of WatchExchange, I am here to show you a watch that is totally different than the 5000 Seiko ads that you ignored on your way to click this link. The watch is a German-made microbrand called Vintro. It was listed as #53 in Teddy Baldassarre’s list of 52 most promising microbrands to watch in 2020. All joking aside it’s a great watch and I’m letting it go to you because it sits in a lonely box all day. It’s too nice and I don’t do nice things anymore (2 young kids). Still interested? Let’s get down to business… I am looking for a $450 for the watch. MSRP is 600 euro and they’ve been sold out for quite some time. It is a rose-gold plated automatic chronograph numbered 69 (nice) out of 500 ever made. What’s more is that it has a beautiful and no-longer-produced Seagull ST1940 movement. It is the rare automatic version of Seagull’s famed ST1901 manual wind movement that you see everywhere nowadays. The automatic version had a limited run and is EXTREMELY rare to come across today. Here are even more juicier details about the watch: Model: LeMans 1952 Automatic rose gold edition (#69/500) Movement: sea-gull St1940 (sort of looks like an El Primero) Crystal: Domed Sapphire Case: Sapphire exhibition caseback Band: Aftermarket high-grade black suede, tan leather, grey NATO, and Rose-gold bracelet Case Size: 40mm Condition: Excellent (8.5/10) with all functions perform flawlessly Price: $450 shipped with box and papers (Paypal, Zelle, or Venmo). Thanks for stopping by and ask me anything you want (even if it’s not about the watch)
