Offering up my Boldr Explorer II GMT to a good home. This entry level field watch by Boldr is an absolutely terrific daily wearer, in a very wearable 42mm case (though it wears like 40mm imho) with bead blasted finish, and a no muss/no fuss swiss quartz movement.

This is a watch that has been worn, both by the original owner as well as by me. That said, a good field watch is made to be worn! It has some marks here and there, but nothing overly noticable or egregious, as you can see by the pics. I will conservatively rate this one at 85%...nothing bad, but wear is evident.

The steely gray/blue dial is one of my favorite colors, and the red GMT hand gives a nice little POP of color to the dial. The dial is nicely balanced, with the small date window unobtrusively placed at the 6 o'clock position, right below the red "GMT" which is placed under the Explorer II name in white. The hands and hour markers make for extremely good legibility. Lume is good, not great, but serves its purpose.

Oddly, the watch has a screw down caseback and screwdown crown, yet water-resistance is only rated at 50m. This is most likely due to the "field watch" designation, but I have owned other Boldr watches in this same configuration that were rated for 100+ meters, so I've never really worried about the WR on it.

No boxes or papers, as I bought it. The original strap and signed buckle are included. The strap shows signs of wear. Currently, it is on a gray heavy mesh NATO strap with utilitarian, bead blasted hardware. I really, really like the look on this strap, and it will be included in the sale.

Movement: Ronda 505.24H

Case: 42mm Marine Grade Stainless Steel Case, Screw-down crown

As mentioned, this one does show some wear, but at the price, it will be the best everyday beater you've ever picked up. Asking just $150 NET, with US shipping included in the price.
