I would say it's doesn't pop 70% of the time and pops 30% of the time I've spoken to a couple other owners of the same watch and it seems to be common. Aquastar does have fantastic customer service so if you're unhappy with the performance I'm sure they will send you a new crown and you can just do a quick swap. Watch is located in Canada.
