Description: One of the most spectacular examples I’ve ever seen ft. a personal favourite early 2nd series dial and deep case hallmarks.

The dial is a gorgeous with a creamy opaline feel to it, my preference vs the later brushed dials. The ‘if you know you know’ feature here being the ‘no cross hair’ sub dial at 3 o’clock, seen for a very short period circa 1987-1988. A rare dial for the collector who knows. There is a small bit of dust above the 9 o’clock sub dial, little else to report, hands are perfect.

The case is INSANE. This is one of the best I’ve ever seen, extremely rare to find the hallmarks this well preserved from lack of wear and/or polishing over the years. The lugs also retain their original shape.

Solid case back, correct for this year, is currently covered by the Patek Philippe service sticker, the watch was serviced in 2021, mechanical service and Patek strap fitted (also included in sale), remained relatively unworn ever since. Original Patek yellow gold buckle fitted.

A true collectors piece and one I’ve been chasing for a long while, happy to say this watch is accompanied with the original Certificate of Origin, 2021 service paperwork, leather PP paperwork wallet, couple of booklets and a PP winding box (possibly later added to set although deep colour from early production). Quite honestly I’m absolutely honoured to list this watch, a highlight for WBLDN.
