For sale: a TYPSIM 200 M in excellent condition with all accompanying materials. Worn only a handful of times, this watch is a great find at a great price. TLDR: I am selling this watch for $800 USD and it is a truly amazing value proposition, even at MSRP of $1200. If you’re not familiar with TYPSIM, it is a US-based (Seattle) microbrand committed to making beautiful, vintage-inspired watches at reasonable prices. The 200 M is the first TYPSIM model and it was limited to 300 pieces (50 chronometer certified watches and 250 non-certified watches). The chronometer models are sold out and there’s only a few of the non-certified watches remaining. The 200 M is the non-chronometer version of this watch. However, this particular example keeps time at about +1 sec per day (YMMV). I do not want to part with this watch but am trying to pare down my collection and limit it to pieces that are worn regularly. Whenever I wear a sports watch, I reach for my Monta Skyquest and am very happy with that choice. The TYPSIM is beautifully proportioned. The case is 39 mm and the bezel is 41 mm, which makes it very easy to grab. The bezel has a super satisfying and solid-feeling action. The crystal is beautifully domed plexi with a cyclops magnifier over the date window at 3. The watch is waterproof to 20 ATM. The bracelet alternates between riveted brushed and polished links. The bracelet is easy to size and has three micro-adjustments on the clasps to hone in on the perfect fit. I am selling this watch for $800 USD obo. This price is negotiable but only within reason.
