With it's Weird case shape, usual sort-of-fluted bezel, 39mm case, that wears larger then a 40mm, the list goes on. Sum total of quirky specs, is a unique watch that really works! Up for your consideration is a lesser known piece from Omega. Sort of similar to the Aqua Terra, kinda like a Railmaster, but definitely its own piece. This is the Globemaster. (This particular piece is ref# 130.30.39.21.03.001.) This has been a go to piece for me over the last while. It's casual enough to wear with anything, and definitely feels perfect in suit and tie... The blue dial with the two different angles, handles light in the most beautiful way. In subdued lighted settings, the dial looks to be a very dark almost midnight blue. Throw in a sparkle of sun and you see the color dance throughout the dial. On top of that the two angles of the dial playing off of each other really make it a delight to stare at. The hands and indices really just scream elegance. Straight no nonsense lines, not Bauhaus in any way, just straight up classy. Some other aspects I've really enjoyed, are the raised Omega logo, The 6:00 date, and the single star (really awesome "light catcher") above the date window.
