Up for sale is another rare watch. These Megasonics were only made for a few years. Max Hetzel, the inventor of the Bulova Accutron, was hired by Omega to make a tuning fork watch for them that wouldn't infringe upon Bulova's patent. The Megasonic was his answer. It has nearly double the frequency as the accutrons, which required some unique engineering solutions, including using a magnetic gear train. When this watch was released, it was the company's flagship, but it did not sell well. I had this watch serviced by John at Budget Accutron. He still has parts to work on the watch and keep them running. It keeps good time within 20-30 seconds a month and the case is in excellent condition. The only blemish is a faint ring around the date. It is roughly a 36mm watch with a \~9mm height. It is currently sized for a 6.5 inch wrist but can fit up to a 7 inch wrist. It can be yours for $750 shipped CONUS or Internationally for extra postage. [More pictures and timestamp](https://imgur.com/a/0aCZsyo)
