They weren't getting nearly the wrist time they deserve, so I'm hoping to find them new homes. ​ 1966 King Seiko 44-9990 w/ rare shield medallion This is one of the first Tanaka-designed King Seikos and this early example has the hacking lever. Recently serviced in Los Angeles, keeping very accurate time. Manual Winding, 25 jewels Original Dial, with a nick at 5 o'clock and some patina near 12 o'clock. It's still one of the best examples of this reference I've seen. Unpolished case. Original signed crown. Production year is 1952. Beautiful vintage condition with a truly unique caseback that you don't often see. Condition appears to be unpolished. Crown is signed. Dial has a beautiful patina. Photos truly don't do this watch justice. It's really a stunning piece because of the patina, overall condition, and lugs. Includes papers! I have the original Guarantee of Origin from 1954 when the watch was first sold. Measures 35mm w/o crown. Lug Width is 18mm. Manual wind cal 420 movement. Running very well, approx +/- 20 seconds per day. Watch sale includes new brown leather strap. I don't know the service history, but the movement looks very clean and it's running well for its age.
