FS Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch “Sapphire Sandwich” 311.30.42.30.01.006 Price: $4200 plus shipping (CONUS only, USPS Priority or FedEx, your choice) A watch that needs no introduction, the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Sapphire Sandwich. This is the previous generation, with the old clasp and bracelet, caliber 1863. Full kit, including presentation box (which is missing the outer medallion), OEM velcro and NATO straps, all links, loupe, strap changing tool, and pictogram card. The watch has seen some action, but is in overall good condition. There is light scratching on the case, underside of the lugs from strap changes, and bracelet, and one small nick in the bottom of the case. Sapphire crystals and bezel are flawless. The watch was worn on a heavy rotation and is keeping excellent time of +/- 7 seconds per day. I would love to hang onto it, but my collection is headed in a different direction. The box is pretty beat up, after two or three moves (as other Speedmaster owners will attest, it is large and fragile). Photos represent condition of watch and box to the best of my abilities. Purchased gray market in 2020. Some people prefer this previous generation, and they are getting increasingly difficult to find. I can’t find a recent example in comparable shape, so I have priced this the best I can at $4200. I don’t see anything else that low currently on the market. I have really enjoyed owning this watch and am letting it go with some reticence, so it is unlikely I will be in the mood to negotiate. Payment is PayPal or Venmo Friends and Family only, or G+S with references and at buyer’s expense. Do not ask about other payment methods. I will not take Zelle, as my bank has big delays.
