Watch purchased on 21 July 2023. I was on a business trip to Chicago and my Monta Skydweller stopped dead. I very much wanted a watch for my meetings and decided to stop in to visit Chase and the good folks at Oak & Oscar. Their HQ is lovely and it was such a joy to meet such passionate and detail focused watchmakers. In short: this is a gorgeous GMT and I am reluctant to part with it but, after wearing it for a few days, I just haven’t been able to bond with it the way I hoped and want to make sure someone else has the chance to own this gorgeous piece.It’s built incredibly solidly and the sandwich dial is to die for. Lovely seven-point on the fly bracelet adjustment will ensure a great fit and I’ve had no trouble adjusting from the cooler Chicago temps to the 101 degree + Houston heat. There are very light wear marks on the bracelet. I’ve purposefully photographed any scratches I could find under direct light to highlight blemishes. The entire case and bracelet are finished in brushed stainless steel, which certainly adds to the watch’s ability to mask any wear. I have tried to price this watch for a quick sale. I am only in the US for a few more days before heading to Australia and would like to get this sent out before I depart.
