Included:**Glycine Airman 42 World Timer** Inner & Outer boxes warranty card (long expired) Hang tag Pillow **Three Straps** (see pics): **Original strap (UNWORN)** NATO strap worn Aviation strap, near new **Airman History book** **Glycine Airman w/ Collectors Kit!** I bought this lovely watch about 4 yrs ago and have enjoyed it every time I strapped it on. It's really hard to part with it, I get attached to them after a while, but there's a new one calling and this one needs to go (I've already sold two others to help pay for another Nomos) and I have no use for a GMT anymore. This is the traditional version of the GMT, which Glycine called a world timer because it tracks **three timezones simultaneously**. I picked this model because I rotate through my collection and the standard three hands are on a 12 hr scale (not visible on the dial). If I'd had this watch when I went to Kenya 6 yrs ago, I could have tracked my home time, time in the current time zone and destination time zone. Very handy for travelers. It's quick and easy to change the additional two time zones. Setting the three standard hands is the same as any other mechanical watch so it's very easy to set all the timezones on this watch. Glycine has a long history dating back to the 30s but is more known for it's **aviation watches being an early producer of GMT watches back in the 50s** when international travel became more common creating the need for such watches. They were also very popular with **Viet Nam era helicopter pilots.** Since my collection has varied between 8 and 11 watches during the time I owned the Glycine, it has only been worn a total of less than six months and its condition reflects it. It has a few minor scratches, no big ones at all, and the most noticeable ones on the backs of the lugs from changing straps. Even those are small. In general, the polishing on the case is exemplary for a piece in this price range, with the tops of the beveled lugs brushed and the sides and bevels polished as is the rounded case. It's also very comfortable to wear and pleasing on the wrist with a 50s vibe of early GMTs and the off-white dial. I've gone **swimming** with it a few times a few years ago with no problems. I'm including everything that came with the watch, including both the inner and outer boxes, the pillow, hang tag, warranty card (expired), and, especially rare, the original strap, UNWORN. I already bought the NATO strap to go with it as I loved the match. The NATO strap included is a replacement for the same one I bought when I got the watch after the first one was soiled so it only has less than a month or so of wear. Also included is a Barton aviation-style strap which I also was a better match than the original for this piece, even though it's the same color and also near new. So three straps in all! I'm also including a near-new copy of "The Glycine Airman", their book describing the history of these watches. Specs: Case: 42mm dia. 22 mm lug width 52 mm lug tip to lug tip (wears a bit smaller due to curved lugs) 12.3 mm thick 100 m **WR** with screw-down crown Crowns: Winding/Setting crown, crosshatchedGMT Bezel locking crown: Rotating/locking steel w/ 24 hr markings, Glycine logo Crystal: **Sapphire** Movement: **ETA 2893**, +7 sec/d avg, time-graphed in 4 positions (well within spec) Price: **$675**
