For sale is the rare Grand Seiko SBGM00C. It is the variant of SBGM003 with the display back, which was available only by personal order from Shizukuishi Watch Studio.
The dial features the original "Double Logo" design, i.e. with both Seiko and Grand Seiko logos and the famous custard cream color that is particularly obvious in certain light conditions.
The case, at 39.5 mm is perfectly versatile and features the renowned GS Zaratsu polish. The watch is about 13mm thick due to the domed sapphire crystal.
The display back reveals Grand Seiko's marvelous 9S56 mechanical movement. The gold rotor has the studio name in Japanese plus custom engraving which makes this watch truly unique and gives a story to this timepiece.
This is still my most accurate mechanical watch, keeping time well within GS specifications.
Condition: TZ near mint, with a couple of nearly invisible nicks on the left side of the case. No box or papers. Comes with 2 straps: a beige buffalo from Hoasa with nubuck texture and another afterwarket tan smooth leather strap.
