Hello all! Up for grabs today is a great example of the early Aquaracer line from Tag Heuer. This 38.5mm piece is elegant, understated, and has a beautiful silvery waffle dial that looks amazing on the wrist and when light hits it. The piece comes on a bracelet, sized to just over 7.25” on the maximum extension on the clasp. Barring some usual desk-diving rashes on the bracelet, it is in fantastic shape, with the clasp and diver’s extension closing and securing crisply with no wiggle. Crown screws down with ease and movement wind and date change are smooth as can be. The crystal is free from blemishes, and seems to disappear under certain lighting. The bezel is cosmetically in great shape; however, it does not rotate. This is an easy fix by any skilled watchmaker, and I’ve been quoted 150 to fix it on my end. Price has been adjusted accordingly. In the meantime, the bezel is centered on the dial at 12:00, so it doesn’t affect the aesthetic symmetry of the watch.
