For sale is pre-owned near mint condition 40mm 18 karat white gold Blancpain Villeret. The 4040-1542-55B is fresh from factory service and includes the factory service travel container and a copy of the 2023 factory service paperwork. While at factory service the Villeret received a complete maintenance service, a refinishing of the case and buckle, and a new dial. The Blancpain does not come with any of the original boxes or papers. The watch features a silver dial with applied high polished Roman numeral hour markers and a retrograde power reserve indicator at 9. The gold case is affixed with a smooth white gold bezel which is mounted on a black OEM crocodile strap with an 18-karat white gold tang buckle. The lightly worn strap will accommodate up to a 7.5-inch wrist. This timepiece is a classic example of “less is more,” with the sleek yet simple dial. Powering the Villeret is a Blancpain caliber 4053 automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 100 hours.
