Beautiful full kit Seiko Mt. Blanc white dial, 44mm. Dial is ridiculous and this whole watch gives GS vibes with the unbelievable Dial, 8L35 grand Seiko movement (- the decoration) and popular turtle case. Steel bracelet with all links 2025 warranty card Box, books, warranty card all included. On small Newark on the bezel bear 12 o'click Very Slight wear marks with light wear, superficial only, Crystal is clear. Other straps are not included in the TV but can be included for the right deal. Mainly interested in trades for blue, green, white or silver dials: zenith, Omega, Grand Seiko, IWC, something with some funk. Will trade down for Oris or other Seiko, etc. I'm also distracted by shiny things so give me a try for other watches, I apologize in advance for being picky. Trade value $2300 and I have other watches and a little bit of cash I can add to a trade up for slightly higher value watches also. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
