Today I would like to offer you a piece that I truly like but some life circumstances demand me to sell it and I would really prefer if it would go to another OF member.

There is another piece of mine for sale now (Trilogy Seamaster 300). Check it out.

This is a reference 145.022 housing caliber 861. Classic Speedy from 1990 with a great brownish dial and blueish bezel insert. A lot of vintage charm for the buck. It also has it's original and beautiful DNN-Bezel.

I bought this watch a couple of years ago from another member and very dear friend. I was happy to wear this piece in rotation with others. I would say it is in beautiful vintage condition: it shows many signs of aging, wear, scratches and scuffs but the bezel is in excelent shape, as it is the insert. Believe me: it is a charming piece seen live.

This 861 caliber has not been serviced under my ownership and for daily wear I would recommend one. It runs very well though, losing a few seconds a day. The chrono function runs well with a perfect click at both start and restart.

Serial number places the watch production year to be 1990.

This piece comes with it's original 1479 bracelet but no box and papers.

The bracelet covers a wrist of up to 18cm, more or less.

My asking price is €3350 (reduced from 3600€) net to me excluding shipping. I welcome a face to face deal in Berlin or surrounding areas, or a transaction through PayPal.

I am located in Germany and can ship almost everywhere. No returns.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
