Rarely worn, the case, strap, and 18k tang buckle gleam with a minimum of swirlies or hairlines. While there are still plenty of miles left on the installed brown leather strap, the listing also includes a genuine JLC, never-worn black leather strap as well. The watch has a beautiful silver guilloché dial with ink black Arabic numerals, a classic inner minute track, and blued steel sword hands. Dual calendar windows display the day and month up top, while a subdial at 6 o’clock combines the pointer date and a classic moonphase with an inlaid gold moon. The gorgeous center wheel, pocket watch-inspired, caliber 843 movement is displayed on the back by a beautifully decorated engine turned frame behind sapphire glass. The core function of this Reverso - which is, of course, reversing it! - makes showing off the movement without removing the watch a real delight. Honestly, writing all this makes me hesitant to part with the watch!
