Hey r/WatchExchange I’ve got two awesome looking Orient Bambino Open Heart Blue Dials for sale here. Why two you might ask? These were the exact watches that got me and my horologically crazed brother into buying “grown up” watches. Decided to part with them as we both caught the bug and have dwindling space in the watch box. But what a watch to start the journey. The Bambino Open Heart (FT62-UAA0) has all the classic tells of a no frills dress watch, domed crystal, brushed sunburst blue dial, high polish indexes and hands, a polished bezel and a brushed case. The key feature that made me decide this as my first proper automatic watch was the tastefully done open heart. It adds just the right amount of character to the otherwise largely generic category of dress watches. Pair that with the display case back and you’ve got all the right ingredients to cause a lifelong addiction for a younger u/trxtor7. In the order of appearance on the slideshow, I’m asking $175 for watch #1 and $150 for watch #2, which has the slightest bit of scratching on the crystal (picture 9).
