Hello again folks!  For sale is a rarely seen, highly sought after and sold out limited edition from Jacques Bianchi – the JB200 Poulpro Destro in Mediterranean Blue!  If you aren’t familiar with the brand, here is a quick summary paraphrased from a Monochrome article: *Jacques Bianchi watches are related to a watchmaker whose workshop overlooked the port of Marseille. Back in the early 1980s, he created a so-called destro dive watch with a left-sided crown for enhanced ergonomics. This quartz diving tool was also recognizable by the silhouette of a frogman on its dial. The JB200, standing for “Jacques Bianchi 200 metres”, was subsequently used by the French Navy’s helicopter and onboard divers in the late 1980s. The model was reimagined and reborn in 2021 with a modern automatic version launched on Kickstarter. Following the success of this comeback, the French dive watch returns with an octopus on its dial and now a Swiss mechanical movement.* You can read more about the model here on JB’s site:  [https://en.jacquesbianchi.com/jb200poulpro](https://en.jacquesbianchi.com/jb200poulpro) The watch features a super comfortable “destro” (left handed crown) case that measures 42mm wide by 13.3mm thick by 46mm lug to lug with 20mm lugs.  Powered by a Swiss Soprod P024 automatic movement, it retains a 200m water rating and has generous lume applied to its hands, indices and lumed bezel insert.  The blue octopus dial model was a limited run that was open for 7 days and has not been brought back since, to my knowledge.  This has caused prices to spike on the secondary market pretty dramatically because of the cult following for these cool French watches. Condition wise I would put this watch at 98%.  There are no major dings, dents or noticeable flaws on the case, bezel, crystal or strap.  There are maybe one or two light hairlines / handling marks in the polished side surfaces of the case and caseback that are only visible in certain lighting and under very close inspection, but largely the watch presents as “like new” on the wrist and was clearly only worn a handful of times by the previous owner. The watch will come on the blue tropic strap with the full kit:  A beautiful blue leather zipped travel case, a felt protection case inside of it, warranty card (January 2024), a nice brand patch and an additional cream perlon strap.
