I am selling my Longines 30CH Ref 5967. Watch comes with a glossy brown strap, a gold plated Longines buckle, and an extract from the archives. It confirms the movement number and the date of invoice 14 April 1954 to Wirth which at that time Longines agent for Switzerland. A point of interest is the watch is a non-flyback. I don't think it's rare but is a point of interest for some collectors. DIAL: If you like patina or freckles on your dial this is an ideal watch for you. I personally liked it and gives a lot of character to its looks, It has applied gold numerals at the even numbers and dagger markers at the odd numbers. It has a 1/5 markers around the outer perimeter. CASE: The case is18K yellow gold and a substantial 38mm in diameter not including the crown, it has a gold signed Longines crown and rectangular pushers. The case is very well defined edges but the bezel has 3 dings at 12 which are very hard to see unless the light hits it correctly. The case back is engraved as shown in the pictures and also has a ding at the bottom and a very slight crease just under the "1929" date. Movement: A very clean 30CH movement. Watch and chronograph function correctly. It's a little stiff when setting the time but winds and sets time very smoothly.
Selling at $5,000.

I just purchased an Omega Speedmaster 105.012-66CB from John. He was very honest in his description , very fair in his price and he made the transaction very easy. I've never had such a pleasurable experience dealing with a seller online. If John offers anything for sale on this Forum, …
Longines (French pronunciation: [lɔ̃ʒin], lawn-zheen) is a watch company based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland. Founded by Auguste Agassiz in 1832, it is currently owned by the Swatch Group. Its winged hourglass logo is the oldest registered trademark for a watchmaker.
Based in Saint-Imier since 1832, the Compagnie des Montres Longines Francillon S.A. was among the world’s leading watch companies. In 2007, Longines had its 175th anniversary. The brand evolved from a comptoir to a full-fledged manufacturing operation and then back down to an établisseur today, since the early 1980s, as a Swatch Group company.
