The first Seamaster 300 was introduced in 1957, during the boom time for scuba diving and was designed for divers. At the time, despite its name, it was only officially rated to 200 meters. The Seamaster 300 was Omega's answer to the Submariner, but it was a more handsome watch, with a broad arrow handset, thin coin-edged bezel, and cursive script on the dial. This watch is an homage to the 50s Seamaster – with a 41mm case which is about perfect for a dive watch. The crystal is sapphire but is domed like the 50s version. Best of all, in keeping with the vintage piece to which it pays homage, it doesn’t have a date function.

Condition & Scope of Delivery: This example was worn a handful of times and is evident with surface level scratches on the polished and brushed surfaces of the bracelet. Minor scratches are evident on the case. A polish by an experienced watchmaker would have this watching looking new, though I would wear as is until it absolutely needs a refinish. The clasp is brand new and was recently replaced by Omega. This watch includes the original solid wood box with outer omega white box and the outer-outer cardboard cover as well as booklet, warranty card, pictogram card, extra links, and even the original hangtag. The warranty card is dated 2018.
