Eterna-Matic Centenaire “Birks”-jeweler signed Chronometer Ref. 129T from 1965. Sharp unpolished case with sharp bevels, clean ivory dial double-signed by Birks, a well-known Canadian jeweler, creamy intact lume on the hands and each dial plot, original crown, and engraved caseback. The chronometer movement is running strong at +8 seconds/day (I’ve included a Timegrapher result in the album). The crystal has some light scratches and a deeper scratch directly in the middle of the dial, though it is not visible at all times. The watch was presented to an employee named Jean-Charles Lavoie of Saguenay Terminals Limited, a shipping company based in Quebec, for his 25 years of service.
