*Up this beauty goes with a nice price drop! IWC’s been making incredible time pieces for over 150 years but right now they seem to be everywhere (including Brad Pitt’s wrist.) If, like me, you’ve been a fan for a while you know two things: IWC has a long history with pilot watches, and they make a mean dial. So when they combine those two into a pilot’s chronograph with a killer green dial… it turns some heads! REFERENCE: IW388103 SERIAL: 7259XXX YEAR: app 2021 DIAL: GORGEOUS green sunburst dial goes from dark forest to a bright green pop depending on the light, combined with that red seconds hand and a clean chronograph layout - it’s a thing of beauty! Sapphire crystal has a little bit of the standard UV film wear seen under a loupe/at the right angle but all in looks fantastic. CASE: The 41MM brushed case with polished bezel for some nice contrast. Has some wear throughout, mostly on the case sides and bezel but looks great on and wears perfectly (photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist.) MOVEMENT: Sweet automatic cal 69385 seen through the sapphire case back. Comes fully regulated by my watchmaker, with chronograph snapping back perfectly to 12 and keeping great time.
