This reference isn’t widely discussed today, making it a quiet gem of Longines’s mid‑1970s dress watch lineup. While modest in size, the clean proportions and quality movement make it feel substantial on the wrist. The watch features a stainless steel case measured at 27mm wide by 30mm tall, just 6mm thick, with a compact 36mm lug-to-lug length and 18mm lug width. Inside beats the manually wound Longines Caliber L847.3, a vintage-era movement known for its reliability. The original factory-finished blue dial has beautifully aged into a rich brown tropical tone, adding character and warmth. It features applied stick hour markers, an applied silver Longines logo, and steel hour and minute hands. Additional details include a signed crown with the Longines logo, a signed stainless steel caseback, and a domed acrylic crystal. The watch is in great condition for its age, showing minimal scratches on the case and the case back. Crystal is nice and clean. Watch comes fitted on a custom leather strap with Longines buckle. It has been recently serviced and is keeping excellent time. Although the watch doesn’t come with original box and papers, a standard watch box will be provided upon purchase.
