Hi folks

Up for sale is my Omega Constellation ref. 2887 from the late 1950s, which is uncommon and thus does not come up for sale often. Here's the chance to get one in very good condition.

Condition
Dial: Excellent and clean two-tone dome dial, only minor specks of patina only visible on macro pics / under a magnifier. The configuration is quite peculiar compared to other Constellations from the 50s, and seems to be only found on 2887 (please correct me if I'm wrong). Desmond's articles features other examples with the same configurations, i.e. lozenge shaped indices combined with onyx filled bar indices at 3-6-9-12. ChronomeTER spelling as to be expected for a Constellation from the late 50s, but combined with the Crossed t Constellation font typically found in earlier Constellation references. The hands show signs of oxidation, mostly visible on the second hand.
Case: Stainless steel case with a screw back in good shape. Probably some mild polishing in the past. The medallion has some tarnish on it, which I never removed. There is some minor pitting on the edge of the case back which I only notices when taking the pictures.
Movement: Caliber 505, full automatic movement. The serial number dates it to approximately 1958. The movement was serviced by my watchmaker in November 2022.
Crown: The watch came with a service crown. I sourced the correct crown with a flat feet Omega logo.
Crystal: Appears to be generic. Some surface scratches.
Dimensions: 35mm in diameter without the crown, 18mm lug width
Accessories: Comes with a lightly worn, generic brown leather strap.

Terms: I'm asking CHF 1590 (or equivalent in USD or EUR) plus shipping costs. The watch and I are located in Switzerland. No returns please unless grossly misrepresented. Many reviews here on the forum.
