Hello and I hope this finds you well. I picked this SRP777 up from a great watch forum member I know (another forum). It’s part of the original re-issues of the fabled 6309. This has the Japan dial/movement, alternating English/Spanish date wheel. For its age, in great shape. Everything works as it should, date change, bezel action, crown screws down with good turns and winds nicely. Time keeping has been wonderful. Having owned another, this one is in terrific shape and one of my better time keepers. Well within specs.

As mentioned overall condition is excellent. There are a few strap change marks in the back of the lugs (not by me). Tiny flea bit on the very edge of the bezel near 16…very very tiny. Caseback is great. There is one very tiny hairline mark by the 7 o’clock side of Crystal. So small, I had to double check when I received it and was not completely sure. I cannot even photograph it. Appears rarely even in direct sunlight. I believe it is not deep at all, and finger nail does not even indicate there’s anything. Strange…certainly super faint. I always like to be transparent. Again, overall and excellent example of this model.

I am only selling as I just picked up something I have been looking awhile for and it came up. If this had not happened, this would be on my wrist😊

I just bought an OEM Seiko strap from Japan, not a huge fan of the OEM that came with the 777 originally, but I know many really like that strap. I used the “boil” technique to form it so the tail conforms nicely to my wrist.
