It has so much going for it with its super rare original Black Enamel "Snail" dial, huge 40mm unpolished stepped bezel case, and innovative monopusher chronograph design, it will make an awesome addition to your vintage collection!** *Enjoy the pix in the album.* This is an excellent opportunity to own a rare Vintage Eberhard watch. Although the case appears to have 2 pushers, in fact this is a monopusher chronograph design where the top pusher controls the start/stop/reset sequence of the chrono. What appears to be a lower pusher is actually an ultra cool slide lock that Eberhard designed to "pause" the chronograph as an added feature to the traditional 3 press monopusher design. The slide lock when utilized, also prohibits the top pusher from being actuated, so also functions as a lock. Very cool and unique, and definitely ahead of its time. The dial is a very rare original Enamel dial with the desirable "snail" tachy scale in the center. The enamel dial is about 80% in tact, but the loss of printing is not that noticable on the wrist and in a way adds to the vintage charm of this piece. The pictures say more than I ever could! Enjoy! The 40mm case size wears well on a variety of wrists, even though it wears large due to the wide dial, it has a very manageable lug to lug dimension of ~46mm. 20mm lug spacing makes for easy strap compatibility, but please note this watch is furnished with it's factory fixed bar lugs, so can only be used with NATO/single pass straps or other compatible straps.
