1930s rectangular Cyma Sport watch with an attractive two-tone dial in an early Schmitz Freres waterproof "clamshell" case. These cases use the set screws in the back to push the flanged crystal against the front of the case. Not expected to be actually waterproof, of course. The case has a slight curve that makes it sit nicely on the wrist. The watch shows wear and aging, most notably some paint loss at the bottom edge and a crack in the crystal. Everything appears to be correct, including even the crown. The case is approximately 22.3mm wide (excluding the crown), 38.4mm lug-to-lug, and 16mm between the lugs. Nice size for a tank.

The watch winds, sets, and runs. The sub-second hand moves properly, but the minute and hour hands do not advance, so the watch will need service/repair. I don't have the skills to remove the movement from the back of the case. I've priced it as a project.
